TEACHING outdoors

Teaching and learning in and out nature—including the use of film cameras and multimedia—is fun and awesome for students and teachers.

My teaching experience in the education sector includes knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum, the Australian Qualifications Framework (think Certificate II, III, IV and Diploma) and higher learning curriculum such as at La Trobe University and Australian Catholic University to provide a holistic approach to learning. My media experience draws from the Australian Film Television and Radio School to stints with ABC and BBC, journalism at Wild Publications to incomparable, real-world filming in Antarctica, Kamchatka and Japan's Hokkaido.

15+ years' teaching, training and lecturing to participants, students and staff including at the Alpine School, Alpine Backcountry Guides (Japan) Australian Catholic University, Quark Expeditions (Antarctica), La Trobe University, Outdoor School—Bogong, Rubicon Outdoor Centre, Wodonga TAFE and Western Institute TAFE

YMCA, Outdoor School—Bogong, TAFE NSW, Rubicon Outdoors and other outdoor schools and organisations have chosen my combined digital media service and Victorian curriculum experience to produce an array of tailored and personalised education resources—from educational videos, Moodle online units to sequenced Outdoor & Environmental Studies units 1-4 digital powerpoints.
